SenzoLive and OfficeSpace Helping Employees Find Free Work Desks

CRE tech and PropTech companies join forces in integrating real-time  Leading developer of workplace occupancy analytic solutions, SenzoLive, today announced the availability of strategic integration with OfficeSpace Software, the pioneering Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) platform provider.

This partnership integrates Senzolive's occupancy sensor data and cloud analytics into OfficeSpace's IWMS platform. The integration streamlines the OfficeSpace desk booking process and delivers up-to-date desk and room availability status, in addition to intelligent analytics on office utilization rates. This will remove much of the employee stress involved in booking desks in an agile office environment.

SenzoLive occupancy data and analytics now offers additional features for IWMS platforms, such as:

It enables flexible ad-hoc booking of non-reservable desks and rooms, based on real-time availability status from occupancy sensors
It eliminates 'ghost meetings,' where meeting rooms are booked in the calendar, but nobody shows up; desk occupancy sensors release no-show bookings automatically
It provides accurate occupancy analytics data across the enterprise, critical for discovering underutilized office areas that can be leased or reorganized, resulting in significant savings

The growing popularity of monitoring office occupancy data is in response to agile office trends in the workplace. In the US, an average office worker is at their desk only 40% of the time and 80% of the office space is defined as "collaborative," according to a recent report by JLL, the leading global provider of real estate services. Given the enormous costs in renting or owning office real estate, the underutilized office space is a huge drain on resources that could be turned into savings or be used to add value elsewhere in the organization.

"This is an exciting development in the CRE Tech sector," says Shamim Sahba, CEO of OfficeSpace Software. "Working together with companies like SenzoLive, OfficeSpace is now able to transform commercial office buildings into digitally intelligent, flexible workplaces. The great advantage of SenzoLive real-time occupancy data is that we can optimize our workspace booking process and better meet the employee needs in an agile office environment."

"We are thrilled to partner with OfficeSpace and add value to its IWMS platform," said Andy Korhonen, CEO of SenzoLive Corp. "In combination, OfficeSpace Software tools and Senzolive's occupancy data delivers both positive workplace experience and improves efficiencies with real financial ROI."

The integrated SenzoLive-OfficeSpace solution is available immediately.
