Single-use modular biopharma facility delivered to China

The modules arrived 80–90% pre-equipped, including the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, the cleanroom and most of the utility equipment

A single-use modular biopharma facility, called the world's largest, was delivered to China recently, according to an article on the PharmaTech website.

The modules arrived at HL Biotech's facility 80–90% pre-equipped, including the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, the cleanroom and most of the utility equipment.

Sixty-two modules were constructed in Germany and delivered to the Biolake Science Park in Wuhan, which is in the Hubei province of China.

“Achieving structural completion in such a short timeframe means that we can now focus on testing and adding more infrastructure, like power and site utilities, etc.,” a project leader said.
