Spellman Brady Completes Interior Design for Village Walk

Spellman Brady & Company (SBC), an award-winning interior design firm, was engaged by Carlisle Senior Living Communities, Inc. an affiliate of The D&F Development Group to create the interior design at Village Walk, an all-new 5-story, 87,700 square feet, assisted living community located on Main Street in historic Patchogue, New York.

The goal of building in the heart of the picturesque community was to find a balance with today’s modern amenities and inviting surroundings for today’s seniors.  Spellman Brady accomplished this by infusing hospitality inspired design, lush fabrics, mixed metals and warm woods to the main entry and assisted living floors.  The local Long Island scenery and various seascape art help frame the inviting gathering spaces such as the bistro, art studio, theater, internet café, pub, observation deck and exercise areas.  In addition, SBC made specific Memory Care selections to foster a soothing, calming environment with the use of soft blue and green finishes with weathered wood tones.

“Understanding the residents desire to be in the heart of the community with the latest amenities and design was important for us” said Leonard T. D’Amico, Principal, The D&F Development Group.  “Spellman Brady helped us reach our goals of a welcoming, social environment for our guests and residents.”

With the close proximity to restaurants, theater, library, post office and shops in charming Patchogue, Village Walk vibrancy echoes that of the community.
