The $281.5 million, 84-bed, Sutter Health’s Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, one of the first hospitals in California to earn LEED Gold certification, set new benchmarks for sustainability in patient-centered healthcare design, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. Sustainability features incorporated into the design include an advanced building-management system that has the ability to control and monitor humidity, air flow and exterior lighting.
