An expansion at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, includes a new cafeteria, an endoscopy unit, a physicians dining room, an entrance and lobby space and a new skybridge connecting to a parking garage, according to an article on the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal website.
The $48 million project is bringing some older services into a newer facility area with an expansion of technology.
The new cafeteria, with more than 32,000 square feet of space, is centrally located for easy access to and from all the hospital towers.
It includes a "state-of-the-art" kitchen, the café with grill, serving line, deli, pizza, salad bar, soup, bakery, exhibition cooking, and Chick-fil-A.
