Things to consider with a clean energy plan

With an energy transformation there is not always a clear path for achieving desired results

Renewable energy generation sources are often cleaner, less harmful to the planet, reduce various risks and can provide cost reductions or local economic value, but there is not always a clear path for achieving desired results, according to an article on the FacilityCare website.

There are a myriad of decisions to be made with each project, and sometimes unexpected variables can have major impacts. Without good guidance and checkpoints, a well-intentioned project can end up with disappointing results and a loss of momentum, the article said.

There are ways to minimize the risks and maximize the potential for positive results with renewable energy projects.

Don’t draw conclusions about a project’s potential based on “common” knowledge. Two technically identical projects can have vastly different outcomes based on dozens of factors that can change over short distances or short durations of time.
