TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, announced a $90 million investment to renovate and expand TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital and TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital.
The multi-year project will bring significant improvements to both hospitals, including expanding the pediatric emergency department from seven to 12 treatment rooms, creating larger pediatric operating rooms and adding a dedicated pediatric CT imaging suite. The renovation will also modernize the 60-bed NICU, upgrade pediatric patient rooms and create more welcoming spaces for patients and families. These improvements will enhance the hospitals’ ability to care for patients with complex medical needs while providing a more comfortable, connected experience for families.
Expected to continue through 2028, the $90 million transformation will incorporate advanced technology and thoughtfully designed environments while supporting the continued growth of specialized women’s and children’s care.
The $90 million investment builds on significant growth already underway at TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital. Over the past year, the hospital has expanded its pediatric medical staff with specialists in cardiology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, oncology, endocrinology, plastic surgery, rehabilitation and general surgery.
With a growing team of pediatric specialists and access to the broader resources of TriStar Centennial, the hospitals are also strengthening their ability to care for patients with complex medical needs and serve as a resource for physicians throughout the region.
TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital and TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital also offer separate, dedicated emergency rooms staffed by teams experienced in the unique healthcare needs of women and children. These specialized environments provide families with focused, streamlined emergency care while connecting patients to the comprehensive medical and surgical expertise, advanced technology and resources available across the TriStar Centennial campus.
