Tripp Lite Appoints Shane Kilfoil as Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, announces the promotion of Shane Kilfoil to the position of Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Previously, Mr. Kilfoil served as Tripp Lite’s Senior Vice President of International Business.

In the newly created Global Sales role, Mr. Kilfoil will oversee all domestic and international sales operations. Tripp Lite currently has a global distribution network that serves customers in more than 80 countries.

“Tripp Lite’s continued organic growth, both domestic and international, makes this the right time to establish a global sales organization to more effectively coordinate the activities of our sales teams and fully leverage corporate resources,” said Glen Haeflinger, Tripp Lite’s President. “Shane’s outstanding leadership of our international sales group and results-driven management style make him uniquely qualified to take on this broader role and drive profitable growth.”

The new sales organization reflects Tripp Lite’s ongoing efforts to provide superior service and support to its sales partners. “Greater sharing of resources and best practices will deliver a consistent customer experience throughout the channel, all the way to the end user,” explained Mr. Kilfoil. “This strategy supports the growth of our partners, which will always be our top priority.”

Prior to joining Tripp Lite in 2016, Mr. Kilfoil spent 11 years at Eaton Corporation, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as the Managing Director of Africa. He has 22 years of experience in the electrical power industry, including roles in general management, business development, sales, marketing and pre- and post-sales service.
