Turner Construction Company celebrated the topping out of the McGivney Tower, the first tower of a $430 million, two tower Neurosciences Center at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. The second tower, Sherman Tower, is expected to top out in early 2025. The overall project will be the largest of its kind in state history.

The 200,000 square foot McGivney Tower is an overbuild of the McGivney Advanced Ambulatory Surgical Center and will include a Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Suite, four patient floors, and a mechanical/electrical room. The two adjoining towers will add 204 inpatient beds to provide care to patients. Both towers will focus on innovation in the neurosciences and will provide a unique setting for patients seeking care from movement disorders to neuro-regeneration. There will also be an 8,000 square foot healing garden on the fourth-floor roof between the two towers.

The 507,000 square foot project is expected to be completed in late 2026.
