Universal's Everline family expands with flexibility of Dali digital dimming LED drivers

Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of the Digital Addressing Lighting Interface (DALI) EVERLINE® LED Drivers. The DALI LED Drivers are dimmable to 1% and are available in 30W and 55W linear options from 700mA to 1500mA. These drivers will join the rapidly expanding EVERLINE family of LED products.

DALI is an industry standard digital protocol that allows users to individually address and control fixtures on the same control line. This provides the ability for custom lighting scene creation, building management integration, and two-way communication between the driver and the DALI-compatible lighting control system.

Universal has offered a full line of DALI ballasts for a number of years, including DALI premium ballasts with parallel lamp operation. The DALI ballasts cover a full line of CFL, T5, T5HO and T8 lamp applications. Now, universal input voltage DALI digital LED drivers will offer the convenience of architectural digital control with the energy efficiency of LED technology.

“Universal has a long-standing reputation for reliability,” said John Ronk, Director of LED Product Management for Universal Lighting Technologies. “Now, with our expanding EVERLINE family, we can offer DALI drivers with continuous dimming to maximize our customers’ energy-efficient lighting solution options. The DALI EVERLINE drivers will provide our customers with even more driver control options for low- and mid-power LED luminaires.”

DALI digital dimming controls are designed to allow for maximum lighting control and system flexibility. These Constant Current Driver’s control leads are suitable for Class 1 or Class 2 wiring. The EVERLINE DALI Drivers are RoHS compliant and UL listed, and come complete with a five-year warranty.
