VidaShield, CME Join Forces to Combat HAI in Healthcare Facilities

For the second year in a row, BRAVO! Group Services’ Corporate Office team, headquartered in Green Brook, NJ, made time to give back to the community through its participation in the America’s Grow-a-Row program, which provides free fresh produce to those in need.  The BRAVO! group of volunteers, consisting of employees and family members, harvested 10,000 pounds of corn and 25,000 pounds of cabbage at Milford Farm in NJ.  Working tirelessly through the early afternoon, the team picked enough vegetables to fill two tractor trailers from City Harvest in NYC and produce 140,000 servings of healthy vegetables for hungry individuals.

“There are too many people in our community who suffer from food insecurity every day,” stated BRAVO! President & CEO Karen Martinez.  “Not only is it our corporate obligation to help others in need, but it is one of the reasons why we strive for success and stability as a company...so we can turn around and give back to those who need our help.  Our BRAVO! family has a very big collective heart, and we are very motivated to do whatever we can to make the lives of others a little better.”

Frank Wardzinski, BRAVO!’s Chief Operating Officer, commented, “Our community service event was a fun, yet very meaningful experience for our team.  I’m so proud of their determination and hard work as they exceeded the goal for produce that would be harvested and helped to fulfill a basic and necessary human need.  We are very committed to this great cause, and it was truly a privilege to work with the Grow-a-Row coordinators once again.  We look forward to a continued relationship with this wonderful organization.”

The mission of America’s Grow-a-Row is to positively impact as many lives as possible through a volunteer effort of planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce.
