WAXIE Sanitary Supply Receives Special Award at ISSA Hygieia Network’s 2016 Award Ceremony

A special award was presented at the ISSA Hygieia Network 2016 Awards Ceremony to Charles Wax and Jeff Roberts of WAXIE Sanitary Supply, for WAXIE’s commitment to promoting gender equality in the Jan/San industry.

The ISSA Hygieia Network is “a women’s forum with a mission of advancing and retaining female professionals in all sectors and at all levels of seniority and experience within the global cleaning community.” WAXIE works with many women-owned businesses in the industry and believes that it is important to be an advocate for diversity and equality with their manufacturing partners.

One of WAXIE’s valued partners is American Paper Converting, Inc., owned by Lydia Work, whom WAXIE has proudly done business with for 15 years. “It’s been a pleasure being one of the first distributors to partner with Ms. Work and American Paper Converting back in 2001. Lydia is a strong leader and we take great pride in our longstanding relationship,” said Jeff Roberts as he accepted the award.
