Water Reuse Featured at IUVA Conference

As recycled water is increasingly used as a vital tool to address shortages and insure conservation, the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) is spotlighting the fast emerging implementation of ultraviolet technology (UV) to water reuse, as a way to help achieve water quality treatment targets at the 2018 IUVA Americas ConferenceFebruary 26-28 2018, Redondo Beach, CA.

“California is a world leader in both water reuse, and the implementation of UV,” says Oliver Lawal, Aquisense Technologies and President of IUVA. “The IUVA conference will uniquely showcase two world class facilities in the state: The Ground Water Replenishment System used to recharge the Orange County groundwater basin; and the City of San Diego’s North City Pure Water Facility (NCPWF), an advanced water treatment facility for potable reuse.”

The event includes three sets of talks devoted to water reuse, as well as sessions on Municipal Water and Wastewater, Advanced Oxidation Processes, a special session on an upcoming EPA report, and an extensive look at the emergence of UV LEDs. For more information and to register please visit http://www.iuva.org/Americas-Conference.
