The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that demonstrates West Hills Hospital’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

West Hills Hospital’s Chest Pain Certification recognizes its compliance with consensus-based national standards, effective use of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to manage and optimize chest pain care, and organized approach to chest pain performance measurement and improvement activities.

To receive chest pain accreditation from the Joint Commission, West Hills Hospital was evaluated during a two-year, on-site review conducted by Joint Commission experts. The hospital was assessed for compliance with national disease-specific care standards as well as with chest pain requirements.
