Wiegmann Expands Removable Hinge Pin Enclosure Product Line

The Wiegmann brand introduces the WRD-XM-FS4, WRD-SSFSN4 and WRD-N4D3PT series. These new products expand the company's line of freestanding electrical enclosures with removable hinge pins. Hubbell Commercial Construction provides innovative electrical products to commercial, residential and industrial markets.

These new products, with patent-pending removable hinge pins, simplify installing sub-panels or making door modifications. Users can remove enclosure doors in seconds. Just as quickly, doors can be reinstalled to provide protection and security. New models include larger sizes for a wider variety of applications.

Wiegmann's removable hinge pins are fabricated of heavy duty 316 stainless steel. The enclosures are built of carbon steel with a ANSI-61 gray polyester powder finish or stainless steel. Units include heavy duty lifting eyes for easy handling and Uni-strut mounting channels welded to the interior sides. Doors open 170° and are sealed with poured-in-place gaskets.

The WRD-XM-FS4 series includes 13 different sizes of single or double door disconnect enclosures. The WRD-SSFSN4 series includes 26 different size single or double door enclosures, which are great for corrosive environments. Adding rack mount accessories make them ideal for protecting sensitive electronic components in harsh industrial environments. The WRD-N4D3PT series includes 8 different double door enclosure sizes, perfect for industrial applications.

Wiegmann's new enclosures provide NEMA 4 and IP66 protection for electrical components from dust, dirt and water. The company's innovative new products provide facility managers, OEMs and electrical contractors an effective way to reduce time spent in installation or modification.
