Woman assaulted twice inside Tacoma hospital

Tacoma General moved her to another wing after the first assault

A patient at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., was assaulted twice while recovering at the hospital, according to an article on the KIRO7 website.

While she was recovering, the woman's  ex-boyfriend came to the hospital room uninvited and poured water on her. Security chased but did not apprehend the suspect.

Tacoma General moved her to another wing in the hospital and security said they set up a code for visitors. However, the suspect returned the following day and poured hot coffee all over her and hit her with a food tray.

No one was supposed to know the patient was in a different hospital wing and hospital security apologized, according to the victim.
