nora and its employees make gift to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Salem, NH —nora systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial floor coverings, and its employees recently donated $3,200 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the results of a matching gift program that invited employees to donate a minimum of $1 every pay period to the hospital.

“nora® employees truly believe in giving back and have a history of supporting organizations where they feel they can make a difference in someone’s life,” said Heidi Anderson, human resources manager at nora. “What makes this donation especially exciting is the fact that 87 percent of our employees participated in this voluntary program. That’s an especially high percentage of participation and a testament to the generosity of our employees.”

nora employees made donations of $1,600 over a seven-month period in 2014, with the company making a matching gift of $1,600. The program will continue through 2015, creating the opportunity to make an even larger gift at the end of the year.

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of the hospital’s founder, Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
