A partnership of Remedy Medical Properties and Georgia Urology broke ground for the Fayetteville Medical Center, a new 20,213-square-foot medical office building (MOB) and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) near the Piedmont Fayette Hospital campus.

Georgia Urology will move from its existing clinic in the Resurgens Park development and its nearby ASC to the new single-story building upon its completion, slated for May 2025.

The new build-to-suit facility will include a 9,400-square-foot clinic with 27 exam rooms and a 10,800-square-foot ASC with two operating rooms and two procedure rooms. The two-acre site will feature 87 parking spaces.

The new center will provide comprehensive care to men, women and children, treating a variety of urological conditions, including enlarged prostate, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, urinary obstruction, erectile dysfunction and overactive bladder.

Remedy owns two of the three buildings in the Resurgens Park development and the site of the new building.

The project development team also includes architect LDDBlueline and contractor Integra Construction.
