Industries like financial services and the federal government devote more than 12 percent to their IT budgets to cybersecurity. Healthcare has the average of just half of that.

The cost of mitigation is growing with an average breach costing $355 per stolen record for healthcare organizations. 

The average costing for a breach in healthcare is estimated to be more than $2.2 million.
