Madrid birthing center honored for design

A natural birth unit at University Hospital HM Nuevo Belen in Madrid won top International Interior Design Association (IIDA) honors in the Hospitals–Women’s category for its modern design and thoughtful detailing, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. The new Transformation and Innovation Award recognized designers who are delivering cutting-edge healthcare designs.
