Two floors of Nashville General converted to coronavirus ward for potential second wave

Area retrofitted in case of second wave

Two floors of Nashville General Hospital have been retrofitted into a coronavirus ward to prepare for the possibility of a second wave, according to an article on the Tennessean website.

The ward has space for 67 coronavirus patients on the second and eighth floors of the hospital.

The facility was described as a “hospital in a hospital,” where coronavirus patients will just needed to go to another floor if their condition worsened and they needed intensive care.
