Fifty vehicles were ransacked recently near Florida Hospital in Orlando, according to an article on the WESH website.
Orlando police said the cars and trucks were parked across several lots and garages near the hospital.
A spokeswoman with Florida Hospital released the following statement:
"The safety of our patients, visitors and employees is of utmost importance. We have diverse security measures in place — some observable, others non-visible — and are taking additional steps to safeguard our employees and visitors, including increased security officer presence in our parking garages."
