A New Category of Patient Room Furniture Improves the Patient Experience

Inspired by the universal desire of mothers to cuddle their hospitalized children, CAMA Collection and IOA Healthcare Furniture collaborated to form a furniture line that improves the patient experience by harnessing the healing power of touch.

The IOA Healing Touch Collection is a growing patient room healthcare furniture collection that addresses the need for personal touch and engagement between patients, their loved ones and caregivers through beautifully designed furniture pieces. In 2015, the collection launched with the introduction of the CAMA Bed Chair. The only one of its kind in the industry, the chair quickly won Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year (BoY) Award for the Healthcare Furniture category and continues to win numerous accolades - most recently, “Best of Competition” at the 2016 Nightingale Awards. The newly debuted CAMA Chaise Sleeper is the second piece in the collection and was recently selected as a 2016 Interior Design Magazine BoY finalist for the Healthcare Furniture category. Winners will be announced on December 1st
