Experts at Kaiser Permanente put together a list of key capabilities for hospitals to manage the next coronavirus wave, according to an article on the Fierce Healthcare website.

The Kaiser Permanente report also highlighted:

  • Home healthcare options
  • The ability to maintain surge capacity
  • Targeted and safe strategies to reopen
  • Effective communication with patients

Coordination between officials and policymakers at all levels of government is also important, the report said.
