AFFLINK members reminded to 'Get on The Energy Bus'

Tuscaloosa, AL - Approximately six weeks after their annual summit, AFFLINK members are being reminded how important it is to "get on the energy bus," according to Leah Waldrop, marketing manager for AFFLINK's eLev8™ system

The "energy bus" refers to the popular book, The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon. Gordon was the keynote speaker at AFFLINK's 2014 Summit, recently held at the San Diego Convention Center. (1)

According to Waldrop, The Energy Bus is about "the power of using positive energy in your thoughts, processes, actions, and interaction with people you work with and come into contact with every day in order to achieve a better, more positive outcome."

In both the book and during his presentation before AFFLINK members, Gordon highlighted the importance of not only having a positive attitude, but also working with and surrounding yourself with positive people.

"No one creates success in a vacuum and the people we surround ourselves have a big influence on the life and success we create......After all there are people who increase your energy and there are people who decrease your energy.  I call the people who drain your energy 'Energy Vampires' and they will suck the life out of you if you let them," he said.

Waldrop says that Gordon's presentation was one of the best received in years and "energy-charged" AFFLINK members.

"But, what so often happens, a few weeks later we often forget some of the things we were so excited about. That's why I am encouraging our members to remember what they learned and not only to 'get on the energy bus,' but 'stay on the energy bus.'"
