AJ Manufacturing Introduces the Redesigned Criti-Clean Ultra

AJ Manufacturing, an industry leader in stainless steel air distribution products for critical environments, has introduced a re-designed and re-engineered version of its popular Criti-Clean Ultra fan-powered laminar flow HEPA filter diffuser.

This revolutionary FFU offers an unprecedented output capacity of up to 1200 CFM in a 48"x24" unit, with a plenum height of just 13.7" – the lowest in the industry. That makes it the perfect choice to retrofit existing pharmacy spaces and other critical/clean room environments to comply with upcoming USP 800 mandates for handling hazardous pharmaceuticals.

“We’re very proud to deliver on key customer needs, especially customers in the pharmaceutical industry, with our Criti-Clean Ultra,” said Rob Haake, president of AJ Manufacturing. “It easily meets USP 800 air change and leak test requirements, but what really sets this new FFU apart from all others in the industry is its remarkably low profile, in addition to its high capacity, energy efficiency and quiet operation.”

Ideal for pharmaceutical environments where hazardous drugs are handled, as well as hospital operating rooms, clean rooms and more, the Criti-Clean Ultra provides constant airflow as high as 1200 CFM, and automatically compensates for changes in filter load, static pressure and more. The unit is both energy efficient (only 42 watts at 90 FPM) and quiet (only 45 DBA at 90 FPM). Plus, it offers all these advantages in a compact height, so it fits easily in existing pharmacy/clean room ceiling spaces.

The Criti-Clean Ultra features stainless steel construction with an all-welded plenum, a computer-controlled variable-speed ECM motor, room-side digital CFM display/control, room-side access to the HEPA or ULPA filter, plus optional built-in LED lights to further maximize ceiling space.

Available in 48"x24"x13.7", 36"x24"x13.7" and 24"x24"x13.7" sizes, the Criti-Clean Ultra also offers a host of additional standard and optional features. For more information, call 1-816-231-5522 or visit www.ajmfg.com.
