APIC conference showcases infection-control videos

'Today, I Vow' video by Norton Healthcare wins APIC 'Peoples Choice Award'

According to a blog on the Advance website, one of the most engaging uses of technology to emerge from the annual Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) conference is the Film Festival Viewers' Choice Award launched four years ago. This year, 14 videos were submitted and the winner was chosen by online voting. The topics included hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment. This year's winning film is titled "Today, I Vow."

"In a brief one minute and 14 seconds, there is a pull on your heartstrings for following proper infection prevention measures," the blog said.

The video was produced by Norton Healthcare.

Check out the videos.
