ASSA ABLOY's HES announces Complete Pac Electric Strike Series

LAS VEGAS — At ISC West 2013 HES, an ASSA ABLOY Group company and the leading electric strike specialist introduces the Complete Pac Electric Strike Series with the addition of nine new package solutions for its 1006, 4500, 5000, 5200, 7000, 8000 and 8300 electric strikes. Each Complete Pac includes an electric strike body and an assortment of faceplates, plus mounting hardware.

“With the addition of our new Complete Pacs, HES is making it easier to choose the best electric strike for any application,” said Michael Webb, Vice President of New Product Development ASSA ABLOY EMS&OEM Group. “By giving installers the option of pairing HES electric strikes with multiple faceplates in one package, they can be prepared for any unexpected or unknown situation encountered in the field.”

The 1006CS Smart-Strike™ Complete Pac is the only electric strike package that is able to release and recapture every brand of every cylindrical and mortise lockset on the market that uses an ANSI 4-7/8-inch strike plate. It includes the popular 1006 strike body and SMART Pac III in-line power control along with five faceplates, mounting brackets and hardware. The 1000CS works with locks with or without a 1-inch deadbolt.

The 1006CLB Complete Pac for latchbolt locks accommodates every cylindrical and mortise lockset with up to a 3/4-inch latchbolt. HES’s 1006CDB Complete Pac for deadbolt locks is suitable for all locksets with a 1-inch deadbolt. All faceplate options and electric strikes included in HES Complete Pacs are also available separately.

The 4500C is the low profile, heavy duty, fire rated solution for every cylindrical and mortise lockset with up to a 3/4-inch throw. The 5000C is the Grade 1, compact low-profile Complete Pac for cylindrical and specialty locksets. The 5200C offers added horizontal adjustability for Grade 1 applications, and both offer stackable lip extension for aesthetics and adaptability.

HES’s 7000C is the dual pre-load solution for cylindrical latchbolts and rim exit devices. The 7000C features an easy in-frame adjustability allowing the installer to adjust the electric strike opening. The pre-load release function allows the electric strike to operate smoothly under varying loads on the door. The 8000C is the concealed, no-cut electric strike Complete Pac for cylindrical locksets and the 8300C is the fire-rated concealed solution.
