The team behind the Kay Jewelers Pavilion medical tower at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio, wrote the book on combining Lean and integrated project delivery, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. The project used a concept called integrated Lean project delivery, which maintains the collaborative nature of traditional IPD while adding a focus on eliminating waste.
