Alucobond natural line expanded with graphite, stainless, zinc, rust color finishes

STATESVILLE, N.C. – 3A Composites USA is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Alucobond® (www.AlucobondUSA.com) aluminum composite material line with four new Alucobond naturAL colors.  The Graphite, Stainless, Zinc and Rust colors will join the Alucobond naturAL Brushed and Reflect finishes.

Alucobond naturAL is an aluminum composite material that features a finely textured aluminum surface. The Alucobond naturAL surfaces amplify the natural beauty and character of aluminum to enhance the design of architectural cladding. The finely textured aluminum surface scatters light for a close-up visual effect, while retaining the look and luster of smooth aluminum from afar.

"Alucobond naturAL was designed to give architects and fabricators a way to enhance their architectural designs with the natural beauty of aluminum," said Ben Branham, architectural marketing manager, 3A Composites USA. "The new Alucobond naturAL Graphite, Stainless, Zinc and Rust color finishes expand design possibilities even further by offering these additional metal looks in unique, non-repeating patterned panels. Architects and fabricators now can incorporate the natural looks of graphite, stainless steel, zinc and rust in building cladding while maintaining the light weight of an aluminum composite panel that’s also easy to clean."

Alucobond consists of two sheets of 0.020” aluminum thermobonded to a plastic core. The new Alucobond naturAL Graphite and Stainless color finishes feature a FEVE clear coat.

The naturAL zinc and rust panels are part of the new natural designer series. These naturAL panels feature a pvdf finish with a painted non-repeating pattern and are designed to allow architects to incorporate unique décor options in building cladding.

Alucobond provides extraordinary flatness and rigidity, excellent formability, low weight and outstanding weather resistance. Alucobond aluminum-faced panels are manufactured with a polyethylene core in a standard 4mm thickness.

Alucobond – "The World’s Favorite Aluminum Composite Material" – is manufactured in the United States in the Benton, Ky., plant of 3A Composites.  The 3A Composites USA headquarters are based in Statesville, N.C.  For more information about Alucobond ACM, call 1-800-626-3365, email info.usa@3AComposites.com or visit www.AlucobondUSA.com.
