Aspirus Wausau Hospital receives Awards Based on Patient Feedback

Aspirus Wausau Hospital (AWH) has been recognized by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC) with Excellence in Healthcare Awards based on information gathered during patient surveys.

The Excellence in Healthcare Awards recognize organizations and individuals who achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences, health care employee engagement and/or physician alignment and engagement based on surveys of their patients.

AWH and its providers were recognized in many areas such as “Top Performers” for Overall Doctor Ratings, Doctor’s Quality of Care, and was in the top 10% for Overall Hospital Rating.

“It is an honor to recognize Aspirus Wausau Hospital with Excellence in Healthcare Awards for their deserving work,” said Joe M. Inguanzo, Ph.D., President and CEO of PRC. “It takes true dedication and determination to achieve this level of excellence in healthcare and each one of these organizations has demonstrated their commitment to making their hospital a better place to work, a better place to practice medicine, and a better place for patients to be treated.”

“The PRC awards show that our health care providers and staff are committed to providing the best possible care to each and every one of their patients,” said Aspirus Wausau Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ryan Andrews. “We’re incredibly proud of everyone recognized this year, and we will continue our goal of providing the highest level of care to every patient we serve.”

PRC holds an Excellence in Healthcare Summit annually that brings together hundreds of healthcare leaders to celebrate their work to transform the patient experience. This year’s conference was held May 3 in Indianapolis.
