Black Book survey ranks ChartLogic in list of top 8 replacement EHRs

SALT LAKE CITY—ChartLogic is ranked as one of the top eight replacement EHR vendors in the just-released Black Book Rankings™ survey of ambulatory physician practices.

The survey based upon seven recent Black Book independent polls of physician practices, evaluated the top vendors in delivering the most desired EHR functions in the current EHR replacement market. The survey found that 81% of respondents were on track to replace their original EHR in the next 12 months.

The Black Book research found that ChartLogic was one of eight vendors, culled from a field of 550 qualified systems, that scored as the top performing EHRs to be considered as a replacement for the user's current system.

"We are pleased that ChartLogic ranked as one of the top EHRs under consideration by physician practices to replace their original EHR. The ChartLogic EHR is specifically designed for specialist physicians, and we have an excellent reputation in the community of high-volume practices. Approximately half of our customers have qualified for Stage 1 Meaningful Use payments, which is one of the higher rates among specialist EHR products," said Zubin Emsley, CEO of ChartLogic.

Black Book rankings uses a multi-step process to collect candid performance data of EMR/EHR vendors. Ballot results are collected on 18 performance areas of operational excellence to rank vendors by product lines.

A division of Brown-Wilson Group, Black Book Rankings is a technology and services market research and opinion research company serving a range of industries. More than 180,000 healthcare-related professionals are invited to participate in the annual HIT survey; over 12,000 users were validated in the 2013 ranking process.
