The new Brain Performance Institute's design is inspired by the elliptical shape of the frontal lobe. The facade of the Center for Brain Health’s new facility at the University of Texas at Dallas begins in Dallas  envelopes the ellipse and features a rhythmic pattern of solid and void panels inspired by an EEG strip, which is generated from an electroencephalogram that tracks and records brain wave patterns, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website.
