The California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) has launched a new website where healthcare facilities can digitally submit architectural plans for review, according to an article on the Techwire website.
OSHPD’s Facilities Development Division is accepting electronic documents for certain projects. The division is now accepting files sizes of up to 100 megabytes in .pdf format.
The new portal offers real-time monitoring of project status, digital plan stamping, a commenting feature and corrections reports.
Electronic plan check will allow concurrent reviews by OSHPD staff which should reduce review turnaround times and will support a consolidated corrections list that clients can use to track and respond to comments.
