Candida auris cases approaching 800

There have been 769 confirmed and 30 probable cases


As of July 31, the number of Candida auris cases reported in the U.S. had grown to 799, according to an article on Becker's Clinical Leadership & Infection Control website.

There have been 769 confirmed and 30 probable cases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The number of cases has jumped by nearly 50 in one month, from 755 cases as of June 30. 

An additional 1,540 patients have been found to be colonized with C. auris, up from 1,474 at the end of June.
