Chicago nursing facility linked to one of two Legionnaires' clusters in Illinois

A McHenry County Walmart is also a possible exposure point

A nursing home in Chicago's South Loop is linked to one of two clusters of Legionnaires' disease cases recently discovered in the Illinois, according to an article on the Chicago Patch website.

Health officials in Lake and McHenry counties also identified a Walmart in Johnsburg as a possible exposure point.

Two residents at Chicago's Warren Barr South Loop Nursing Home have been diagnosed with the disease, and the facility is revising its water management plan.

The Walmart was identified as a possible common exposure area after health officials noticed a slight increase in diagnosed Legionnaires' disease cases in September.
