Chicago nursing home security catches 'ghost' on CCTV

Guard posts footage on Facebook, where it has racked up more than 2.5 million views


A security guard at a Chicago nursing home recently shared  surveillance footage of his encounters with a "ghost" that he claims floated by him while he was on duty, according to an article on the RT website.

The officer posted the footage on Facebook, where it has racked up more than 2.5 million views and almost 60,000 shares.

The guard said he was working the night shift when he heard two footsteps behind the front desk. The CCTV footage shows him standing up to see where the noise is coming from - the moment he says he saw a grayish mist move past him.

Since then he has continued to share footage of possible paranormal activity including a ceiling light suspiciously falling to the ground.
