Colorful medical center planned for Chicago neighborhood

The brightly-colored facility will include multi-purpose communal spaces to host wellness-related educational programs


A new futuristicly designed two-story community health and wellness facility is planned for Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood, according to an article on the Curbed website. 

The angular, JGMA-designed Esperanza Health Center will replace a vacant lot and provide health services from a bilingual and culturally diverse staff, The project will take a community-based approach towards wellness and prevention.

Its first floor will house a neighborhood pharmacy as well as offices for Mujeres Latinas en Accion—a nonprofit group focusing on youth services and domestic violence.

The brightly-colored facility will include multi-purpose communal spaces to host wellness-related educational programs.
