ContextVision Announces First OEM Installation of its Orthopedic Package

Closing a gap in orthopedic imaging, ContextVision has added the Orthopedic Package to its gold-standard image enhancement solutions for digital radiography. The Orthopedic Package is successfully installed for the first time for an OEM customer.

“ContextVision strengthens its position within orthopedic imaging by adding the Orthopedic Package to its product portfolio. The company continues to identify unmet technology needs in the medical imaging industry, and develop technology to address those needs,” said Fredrik Palm, Vice President, ContextVision.

ContextVision’s GOPView® XR2Plus with the Orthopedic Package addresses specific image quality preferences in orthopedic imaging, previously seen in CR. Now, DR system manufacturers can also present images with the required dense white bones and dark soft tissue. ContextVision adds this to its well-known robust software to ensure stable image quality in daily clinical workflow.

The superior dynamics of GOPView® XR2Plus allows system manufacturers to easily meet a wide variety of preferences, both pre- and postoperative. Furthermore, it facilitates low-dose exposures with the highest image quality.

The company continues to make significant upgrades to its product portfolio to advance the radiology industry, improving imaging, diagnoses and patient care. For more information, visit www.contextvision.com
