Danfoss launches TU ice machine service kit - a new innovation for contractors

By Healthcare Facilities Today

From the leaders in specialized TXVs for ice machines comes a new innovation for contractors: the Danfoss ice machine service kit.  The kit enables contractors to be ready for almost any ice machine thermostatic expansion valve replacement, and save up to 4 hours by stocking Danfoss ice machine service kits in the truck as this eliminates an extra trip to buy a replacement part.  The kit includes a TU valve, a selection of orifices and connections, a bulb strap, and insulation tape, and covers machines from 75-2300 pounds per day.

Danfoss TU valves are the market leading solution for ice machines based on:

· Bimetal connections for fast and easy brazing with no wet wrap

· Stainless steel capillary tube and bulb and laser welded element for the longest lasting valve in the industry

· Laser engraved product information for lasting identification of valve type

· Decades of experience working with ice machines ensures optimal bulb charge for fast and precise capacity control

· Replaceable orifice allows for capacity adaptations and enables access to the screen for cleaning
