Dayton Children's increases scope of tower project

The healthcare facility has decided to build-out the seventh floor

Dayton Children's Hospital has increased the scope of its tower project, according to an article on the Dayton Business Journal.

The hospital's volume has steadily grown, so it plans to build out the seventh floor of the eight-floor tower.

The tower will now cost $168 million to build — up from $153 million estimated last year.

The hospital's new cafeteria opens in early February, with the old one being demolished to make room for a new connecting tunnel.
