Deb Group Launches Deb Stokoderm Frost, a Pre-work Cream Designed to Keep Skin Healthy in Cold Working Environments

Deb Group launched Stokoderm® Frost – a pre-work cream specially developed to keep hands, face and other exposed skin healthy in cold working conditions.

Deb Stokoderm® Frost is part of the new Deb Stoko® Range. It is ideal for use in cold environments and can be used with gloves or personal protective equipment (PPE). The dual action formula is designed to work at preventing skin dryness and can be applied at sub-zero temperatures to -22°F without freezing.

“Workers in cold and freezing environments are at high risk of experiencing severe skin dryness, which is a serious issue often overlooked,” said Isabelle Faivre, Vice President of Marketing, Deb North America. “Keeping hands moisturized and healthy in the coldest of conditions is crucial in establishing a safe and productive workplace.”

Deb Stokoderm® Frost absorbs quickly into the skin, encouraging use among workers. Dermatologically tested, Deb Stokoderm® Frost is compatible and safe to use on the hands, face and other exposed skin and as a supplement to PPE. This innovation will be welcomed by general outdoor workers and those working in refrigerated environments, as well as those working in construction, mining, fabrication and assembly, food industries and catering, and warehousing and logistics.

When skin is exposed to potentially harmful substances and environments, the implementation of safe working practices and appropriate protective equipment should be used. However, when skin exposure cannot be avoided, using an appropriate skin protection cream can reduce the risk of occupational skin disorder and keep skin healthy. Deb Stokoderm® Frost should be used in small amounts before entering cold environments, but can be effectively used and applied in even the coldest conditions.
