EDAM Group Creates Business Leaders of the Future with New Development Initiative

DAM Group, the UK’s specialist provider of credit hire and post-accident services has revealed plans to further secure the foundations of its 2020 Vision. Branded the Top Right Leadership Programme, the initiative underpins the company’s intentions for strategic development and growth over the next two years, whilst building upon EDAM’s core values of innovation, respect, integrity, passion and fun as one team.

The business has invested heavily in the new scheme, working with an external provider during 2018 in order to roll out the Top Right Programme, which encompasses the neuroscience of leadership. It aims to establish and encourage a strong leadership team, driven by a continuous cycle of feedback, action planning, development and delivery of programme objectives.

Valuing and nurturing its people is key to ensuring the business maintains its market-leading levels of customer service – essential during its continued growth in the credit hire industry.

The company’s commitment to investing in individuals who are outstanding is at the heart of EDAM culture, resulting in an inspiring work environment backed up by state of the art facilities. Providing new and exciting opportunities for growth and development ensures team members are fully supported to be market leading service providers who flourish in their roles and are passionate about the business at all levels.

The 18 month programme is individually tailored to suit each person and their ambitions within the business and is built around four pre-defined pillars of trustworthiness, inspiration, influence and commercial focus.

Gary Mitchell, HR Director said, “We invest heavily in finding and developing exceptional talent here at EDAM. We keep an eye out for those people who live and breathe our values and do all we can to encourage their growth. Their happiness and success has a two-fold effect, also being beneficial to  for our customers and business.”

In a continued commitment to keeping people at the heart of everything EDAM does, the new initiative aims to support the company’s leaders and emerging leaders to create an environment in which team members can thrive.

Gary Mitchell continued, “The project is designed to improve how we lead, deliver on our ambitious growth plans and maintain our position as the market leading service provider.”

More than 90 team members are currently taking part in the programme, embracing EDAM’s continuing commitment to its people, for which it has recently won two awards.
