EVS professionals can impact patient satisfaction


While cleanliness of the environment is often the first thing a patient notices, courtesy also impacts the patient experience, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.

Ensure that EVS staff can contribute to a positive patient experience is the focus of many hospital improvement projects.

One way to positively impact patient experience is for all caregivers, including EVS professionals, to help lessen patient fears. 

To allay patient fears, a combination of cleanliness, listening, respect and courtesy can go a long way.
