Espen Technology Launches LED Emergency Driver For 0-10V Downlights & Other Fixtures

Espen Technology announced the launch of its new LED Emergency Driver.  Model # VEMB15W-10V (C) is an emergency lighting inverter, specially designed to operate with Espen’s commercial downlights or other 0-10V dimming fixtures, up to 15W.

“This emergency driver is unique in that it allows the fixtures to be on, off, switched, unswitched, or dimmed without affecting emergency operation,” stated John Clancy, SVP of Sales & Marketing at Espen.  Clancy added, “This LED Emergency Driver overrides any 0-10V dimming signal when it’s triggered, ensuring full emergency mode light output.”

Each unit consists of electronic circuitry, lithium-ion battery, “ON” LED indicator, push-to-test switch, and a charger, all enclosed in a steel case, with a 13” flexible conduit.  Electrically, the LED Emergency Driver is 120-347VAC input, with a 15W max load.  The unit provides 90 minutes of minimum emergency operating time over its full temperature range (32o-120oF), and a 24 hour maximum battery recharge time.  The VEMB15W-10V (C) comes with a 5 year warranty and meets UL924.
