FST Biometrics wins two honors for IMID mobile app at ISC West

FST Biometrics, a biometric identification solutions provider, was recognized with two industry awards during the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) in Las Vegas.

FST Biometrics won the 2015 Security Sales & Integration MVP (Most Valuable Products) Award for the company’s IMID Mobile solution for the impact of the new offering on integrators. A second industry distinction – an Honorable Mention, also for IMID Mobile – came from the Security Industry Association’s 2015 New Product Showcase (NPS).

IMID Mobile delivers FST Biometrics’ award-winning In Motion Identification (IMID) technology to personal devices. IMID Mobile, a smartphone application, is designed to identify visitors on a mobile device and enhance the important work of security personnel by providing them with valuable supplemental information about visitors to sites in need of tight security.

“We deeply appreciate that our solutions continue to capture industry recognition at the highest levels,” said Arie Melamed Yekel, CMO of FST Biometrics. “As a leader in identity management technology, FST Biometrics constantly strives to apply our innovation in new ways, as evidenced by IMID Mobile. Our clients continue to gain satisfaction and realize value from our biometric identification technology.”

FST Biometrics’ IMID Mobile was selected as the Security Sales & Integration “Most Valuable Product” in the Access Control App category by a panel of accomplished industry leaders and SS&I editors. Entries were judged on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the end user.

Security Industry Association judges presented an NPS Honorable Mention award to IMID Mobile for the solution’s embodiment of innovation. Since its inception in 1979, the NPS has been the security industry’s premier awards-based marketing program.
