Following Rapid Growth in Northeast, Fairbanks Energy Services Expands Energy Conservation Offerings to the Midwest


  Fairbanks Energy Services, a full-service design/build energy conservation firm and leader in developing comprehensive commercial and industrial efficiency projects, announced today the next step in its strategic expansion with the official opening of its Midwest office at: 3601 Algonquin Rd, Suite 304, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. Established in response to the sharp increase in demand for energy efficiency across a variety of sectors, the launch of this latest office is the company’s third since its founding in 2014.

The Midwestern expansion is a sound move for the company as the region, and Illinois in particular, rank highly among energy-efficient states. Throughout the country, the increased interest in energy conservation is reflected in the results achieved by Fairbanks Energy Services, which in its first two years of operation has completed more than 200 projects and grown at a rate of over 300% per year. As a result, customers of Fairbanks Energy Services from across a variety of industries: (manufacturing, retail, education, healthcare, data centers, and more) have experienced  annual energy savings totaling over 25 million kWh and annual cost savings over $3 million. Fairbanks Energy Services works closely with state and local utility companies to maximize incentives that reduce the customer cost of their energy reduction projects. Since 2014, the company has obtained more than $4 million of incentives for its clients.

Leading the Midwest expansion is Rob Golden and George Lauber, who will direct business development and project operations for Fairbanks Energy Services throughout the region. Before joining the company, Mr. Golden and Mr. Lauber previously managed Golden and Lauber Inc., a business consulting firm that specializes in a variety of areas, including: environmental projects, strategic planning, business development, and sales and marketing. Having helped more than 100 companies with their sustainability efforts in this capacity, Golden and Lauber are ideally positioned to provide customers of Fairbanks Energy Services with demand-side energy management services, navigation of utility incentives, and reduction of their overall energy consumption. The Midwest office is currently building an LED lighting and controls project that will save over 12 million kWh annually.
