Gas leak kills two in Mexico City maternity hospital

A woman and child are killed and dozens are injured following fuel truck explosion

At least two people have been killed after a fuel truck delivering gas to a maternity and children's hospital in Mexico City exploded, according to an article on the Sky News website.

The blast was caused by a leak in the hose carrying gas from the truck to the hospital, officials said.

At least 32 adults and 22 children have also been injured, with many of them hit by flying glass.

Around 100 patients were in the building at the time of the blast and dozens have been moved to other hospitals.

About 40 percent of the building was destroyed, according to officials, with the heaviest damage near a loading dock.
