Vari-Green motors, utilized in a variety of Greenheck direct-drive fan models are designed for superior energy-efficiency, controllability and low maintenance as compared to standard permanent-split capacitor (PSC) motors used in single-phase voltage applications. Greenheck fan systems using Vari-Green motors and controls may contribute to LEED points.
