High-speed hand dryers called better hygienic option

Significant cost and environmental savings also cited

High-speed hand dryers are the most effective hand-drying method available to commercial facilities, according to an article on the FaciltyCare website.

Third-party studies have debunked the myth that paper towels are more hygienic than hand dryers, according to the article.

A 2000 study conducted by the Mayo Clinic evaluated the effectiveness of four different hand drying methods in removing bacteria from washed hands and concluded there are no differences.
